Legacy of Love

Wow!  It's February 13!  I have not kept up with this at all!
October through December was really busy! Lots of photography jobs which I praise God for, especially because Randy's job went to 4 days a week, which meant a 20% reduction in pay!
But God being God provided the whole time.  We never missed a bill.  Yep it was tight, it still is, but we are still able to pay our bills.

I met a wonderful family who lost a little boy at 27 1/2 weeks gestation.  His name was Max and is now with Jesus.  Her, her husband and a friend ( who is also wonderful ) of hers who lost two babies ( a boy and a girl) are starting an organization called Legacy Of Love.  It is an organization to promote awareness of the issues faced by families who experience pregnancy and infant loss and provide resources to aid in positive grief resolution.  In addition, Legacy Of Love Foundation Inc. offers outreach services to families while enduring subsequent pregnancy after infant loss.

I am joining them in their efforts by providing free photography sessions and a free portrait to celebrate their new arrival.  It is part of their Hope and Celebration Kits which are given to families who have had a subsequent birth.  I am there for them in any other way I can help too!

I recently photographed a family who had lost a little boy.  They recently had another little boy and I had the privilege to photograph him and his family.  Let me tell you what an absolute blessing this has been!  And what an incredible story the Mom has.  Her baby is in the photograph I posted.

Take care!

Running, running, running

I did a photo shoot this last Friday afternoon of a beautiful 4 year old girl and a very active one year old boy.  I have 3 words that describe the session: running, running, running!  Once those kids find what their little legs can do underneath them, off they go and there is no stopping them!  This is celebrating childhood!  Capturing the moment of curiosty,  freedom and just having fun.  Don't you love it!  I want to be a kid again!

Sisters

Hello,
It has been a long time since I posted on this blog.  I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph a family with two beautiful children. The whole family is beautiful and so sweet.  Dad is a great artist. Mom and Dad work with children who have special needs.  I respect them so much!   Aren't they adorable?!!

Jon

I wanted to share with you a photograph I took of a senior named Jon.  This guy is awesome!  Loves the Lord.  Is an accomplished pianist who plays for our worship band at church and is just an all around fun person to be with.

Hocking Hills!

This week we went to the beautiful Hocking Hills.  There is no way
too appreciate the magnitude of these caves without actually being there.
Really shows God's handy work!

Vacation!

 Hello,
We just came back from the outerbanks of North Carolina.  It was just beautiful!  I wanted to share some pics with you.  These used to be the stomping grounds of Blackbeard the pirate!  I think my brother is related to him!  Grin...

Attitude

This is the true essence of a 3 year old.

I have taken care of this little one since she was a baby, but I blame the attitude on her mother.  Mom?  Grin... Mom knows I am kidding.  She would blame me for the attitude.. I love this photograph, this little one just cracks me up.

I have a lot of her photographs on my website and yes she is smiling.
 Check it out...
